Deepen Your Practice & Share

If you have been practicing for a while and would love to learn more to aid in yoga becoming your life practice, this 200 hour program is for you.  This is a priceless way to invest in your self work.  On top of that, a smart tax write off.

The full program is approved by Yoga Alliance and fulfills the 200-hour certification requirements.  Yoga Alliance is the main governing board of yoga teachers in the United States.  Earning the 200-hour certification lets your students and employers know that you have completed comprehensive training to become a yoga teacher.

About the Program – The yoga teacher training program curriculum was written and created by Nancy Wile.  Nancy is a registered yoga teacher trainer (E-RYT 500), and is the founder of the Yoga Education Institute- a registered yoga school.  She earned a doctorate in health education from Columbia University and spent much of her working life developing and evaluating health related programs for schools and universities.  Yoga of Dickson is an official affiliate school that will be offering this comprehensive Registered Yoga Teacher Training Program.  The training sessions will take place at Yoga of Dickson and will be lead by Christina O'Brien E-RYT and others with many years of personal and teaching practice.

This will enable you to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

Prerequisites-The course is open to people of all yoga abilities. We simply ask that participants set an intention to devote their time and energy to the process of being present and open to becoming. We also suggest, that you work to establish your own personal yoga practice, through attending classes or workshops, or on your own.
